Root Canal Therapy/ Procedure is performed to save a tooth when its pulp becomes infected or inflamed. (Under the tough, protective enamel, and the main portion, dentin, lies an area, consisting of blood vessels and soft, connective tissue. This is known as dental pulp.) During the root canal treatment, the infected pulp is removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned & disinfected.
